  • What’s Wrong with Gnosticism?
Recently we Christians have been bombarded with a slew of Gnostic readings and studies which gnaw at the heels of Christianity. Since the discovery of the Coptic Gospel of Thomas at Nag Hammadi in Egypt in 1945, scholars have had a heyday deciphering the purpose behind the Gnostic faith.
  • The Consistency of God in His Promises
This lesson focuses on the promises of God and his unfailing, immutable steadfastness as He administers His promises. Before we can stand on His promises (or the promises of anyone), we must first trust the reputation of the promiser (the one doing the promising). You see, promises are useless if the promiser is not able to maintain his word. When one changes his promises from time to time, the promises are also less powerful than if he keeps his promises consistently.
  • Giving to God
The very first thing that God gave to man after He had created them was dominion over the all the living creatures that moved on the earth, and he gave to man every “herb bearing seed” and every “fruit of a tree yielding seed” for food. He told man to “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth”. (Gen. 1: 28-30).
  • Eternal Life
In the same way as God gave us life, gave us food to eat, and gives us the daily needs to maintain our life, he has also given us eternal life. The state of that eternal life will be a reflection of our response to His given, while we are here on earth. You see, for those of us who recognize His Creatorship, His Godship, and worship Him as such, we will spend that eternal life with Him, in His presence. O, what a beautiful time that will be! Forever, with the Creator of the Universe!
