Your style-where does it come from

We often hear: find your style! But what does the concept of “style” mean? It is the expression of your individuality. It is so personal and unique that nobody else can imitate it. But two questions appear:

1) In what condition does your style is?
2) Do you actually know about its existence?

The style of your dress and the unique style of your individuality are not the same things. You can change your dress, but your style remains!
Then how is it possible to find your own style? Where to look for it? The answer is predictable: in your inner world, and only there!

Sincerely say: I don’t like it!

Look what fashion magazines, friends and those around you impose you and then listen to the voice of your individuality and make the first step. Just tell: “I don’t like it! I won’t wear it!”

Do they say that boots on stiletto heels are in fashion? But you imagine yourself hobbling till the subway station and tell: “No, I don’t like it, I prefer my platform boots.”

Do they also say that men prefer women with long hair? But you look in the mirror and see an old-Indian-look-like woman with hanging hair and tell your hairdresser: “No, I see that it doesn’t suit me. Cut my hair shorter.”
Do they say that in order to be attractive it is necessary to be thin and sporty? But you feel sick because of sweat smell in a gym. Just be as you are. And if the world doesn’t like it- so much worse for the world.

Restrict your choice

Fashion offers mini…Fashion offers maxi…
Fashion just offers - it does not dictate-you shouldn’t confuse the notions. Sellers don’t impose you to buy everything presented on the counter. The same way fashion magazines only offer you to choose something from the available assortment.

And if you don’t like something this time –just don’t pay attention. You shouldn’t go contrary to your nature.
But of course don’t try to close your ears. If you are being told that you look great in jeans, but not in lace, male hats, retro and formal suit-that means that it is true and you have to live with it.

A crummy blonde will die but won’t make herself look like Naomi Campbell. Everything nature gave you is a base of your image, and even if you don’t like this-you cannot “divorce yourself”.

Find a person to follow the example

Don’t reinvent the wheel and you’ll save your time and money. Just use somebody else’s experience. Think: what famous women do you resemble – first of all in an outward appearance? Find a “goddess” but she has really to look like you, otherwise she is not worth a pin.

You can certainly change your look even with the help of cool accessories. A friend of mine adores watches, but because she doesn’t have the possibility to buy very expensive watches she likes, she has found an optimum alternative-she‘s counted on replica watches. And what is amazing-these replica watches are not only very beautiful but qualitative as well.

For example I like when she wears her summer dress in a very delicate color with a gorgeous replica watch in form of a beautiful flower of the same color spectrum. She looks very beautiful and tender.
It was just an example how you can change your image. Just be inventive!

Turn your imperfections into advantages!

A model to take example by is only beginning. Now add something very personal! For example, Madonna has chosen Marylyn as a model but hasn’t stopped and has won!

Try to understand the most important thing: there is nothing worse than uniformity. There is nothing more boring than a world populated with beautiful mannequins from a one serial lot.

You have something that others don’t. What is it? How do you differ from your coevals and country-women? By what signs do people recognize you from a distance? Your originality involves everything you have considered to be your imperfections. Everything you cannot get rid of at the same time is everything nobody can take away from you! And if it is not in fashion- make it fashionable!

I’ve known a very big fat guy who ordered a T-shirt with an inscription across his belly:
SUCH A NUMBER OF LETTERS JUST WON’T FIND ROOM ON YOU!
The conclusion is-exploit your dissimilitude!
Find something in you that nobody else has!
