The community Mark worked with contained Jews and Gentile Christians, Matthew’s community included only Jews and he taught them about new transforming Christian community. Every Evangelist had his own image of Jesus in his mind and, of course, it could differ from the others, besides it corresponded to the requirements of his community. Matthew and Luke wanted to add Jesus’s sayings to Marks gospel in order to make it more descriptive, because their writings had many details and Mark’s gospel didn’t. John’s gospel is the most independent, original and articulate, that is why it was printed first.

There are several opinions concerning the differences among the four gospels. The disciples having access to one or more documents had an opportunity to change something in them. In their writings they were led by the Holly Spirit, so their gospels can not be only thoughts and impressions. At the same moment, it would be wrong to mark out one gospel saying that she is the most accurate; all the gospels tell the truth about Jesus.
