In his book Mein Kampf Hitler put the whole blame for the Alsace-Lorraine issue on the German Parliament claiming that instead of destroying the French Hydra last and all the time, the Reichstag let the monster according to Hitler stay and consequently cause more problems through its everlasting desire for revenge.
