That’s right, folks, I see everyone standing in line, just hoping they can fail online.

Seriously, why does it happen?

Newbie goes online, sees information about new millionaires online and thinks, if they can do it, I can do it. Newbie buys high-priced CD set and super kit for succeeding online.

CD set contains 54 Cds. Rather than start with CD #1, “Introduction to the Internet”, since newbie already knows everything about the internet (NOT!), he skips ahead to the one that looks to be the most interesting. Perhaps CD #27, “How to Tantalize Your Prospects with Email Copy”.

Newbie listens to CD in car on way to work. CD is above newbie’s head. Remember, newbie is new. Newbie does not have a list to email to, a web site to sell from----but newbie is listening to CD #27 first.

Newbie comes home from work today and tells spouse CD set is worthless.

Newbie opens super kit for internet success (he paid $1500 for it). True to self, he skips instruction manual. Goes straight to web files. Skips instructions. Opens “content file”. Sees 345 different files to name and upload. Newbie remembers the game is on tonight.

One month later: Newbie reluctantly pays credit card bill, where he charged the CD set and super kit, which are collecting dust in home office.

Folks, if that is you, go get the CD set out and listen to all the CDs, taking notes. Then listen to them again. Re-open super kit and start at the beginning.
