Finding the top wedding photographers in Hawaii is usually as simple as finding one that can display the images you wish to have of your wedding. Not the actual photo, but the style of shooting, the different shots taken such as bride & groom, cutting of the cake, posed or non-posed, etc. When you find the photographer of your choice be sure to see plenty of their past wedding pictures. Mix and match the photos from different weddings so you can see from year to year and indoor or outdoor wedding pictures. This will give you the variety you need to see their experience level and standard of quality. Some photographers will show off their photos from certain wedding locations so you can get a feel for how your photos will turn out at your venue or location. If your photographer doesn't have this you shouldn't be discourage from using them. Just be sure to see enough pictures to make a determination. There are different styles of photography and you should decide what style you want because it will help you find the right photographer for your wedding. Some styles include traditional, photojournalistic, candid, and more. Asking for a mix of styles is acceptable as well since you will sometimes want posed shots and others to be candid. Many times wedding photos are delivered in a combination of ways including printed out, on a cd, or some other way. Just be sure that you know what to expect because if you're printing your own photos there will be additional cost for the prints. Plus if you're hoping for a cd and you don't get it you'll be disappointment. Other details to work out are reprints and portraits. Reprints are when someone in your family wants to order more of your wedding pictures after the wedding. You can usually order reprints for years but be sure your photographer will be in business or turn over your originals to you upon request if this is important to you. If a wedding album is important to you, make sure you see samples. There are varying degrees of quality in this department and you want what you want. The more you see the better you can choose. Like with all wedding vendors, you should like your photographer. That's sound obvious but you'll be around this person for most of the day and if you don't like them you'll be let down, frustrated, or both. Most photographers like to show off their camera like it means something to you (unless you're a fellow photographer). In that case, you don't need this article. However, the only reason to pay any attention to what they say about their camera is to make sure it's newer and/or can produce quality images. Outside of that, it's not really of concern to you.
