The four adherents of Jesus wrote the gospels (The Feeding of Multitudes, Walking on the Water and others), where they tell about the trial that Jesus put them and 5000 other people through. It was a trial of belief. The four disciples: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John describe the same events, but there are certain differences in the way they do it. In the gospels we can see the peculiarities of the style of every Evangelist and find the differences. If we compare the gospel from Mark with the others, we will see that he writes more simple and informal than the other authors, for example, the style of Luke’s writing is very literary and eloquent. Mark’s gospel shows that there were differences in what Jesus said in public and privately to his disciples, his gospel is the shortest. For Matthew’s gospel is characteristic the reference to the Old Testament and the prophecy, to its fulfillment. As for the John’s writings there are many long sentences and passive constructions in them. The differences can be also observed in thee way they depict walking on water and the feeding of five thousand people. According to the Mark’s, Matthew’s and Luke’s gospels these events happened nearby Bethsaida. In John’s writings there is no mentioning of the exact location of these events, he only notes that people were invited to sit down on grass before eating. He also writes that it was a boy from the crowd, whom the food came from, but three other Evangelists do not agree with him. When Jesus and the disciples set off, followed by the crowd, Matthew says that sick people in this crowd were healed by Jesus, according to Mark’s writing Jesus was teaching them different things, in Luke’s gospel both versions exist and John doesn’t write anything about this events.
