The End of Loneliness

During studying at college, Elizabeth met the man of her dreams and later bore a baby from him. But in spite of this he left her and their baby six months later. It was very hard for her, but she managed to finish the college even having a baby. Afterwards she left the state and found a job in history museum. When she had heard what was happening to her friend (Nancy’s mother had died and Nancy cared for her sick father and two sisters), she decided to help her at any price.

Elizabeth’s family was very close and loving and Nancy knew that but never met them. Liz phoned her father and asked him to give Nancy a job. Jed agreed (he couldn’t refuse his daughter) and hired Nancy to his team. Nancy liked being Jed’s secretary (Liz’s father) because she enjoyed the long-term secretary named Mrs. Landingham. Nancy and Mrs. Landingham worked very well together, and with time, Nancy opened up to the woman as some time to Elizabeth.

In the course of time, Jed observed the friendly relationship between the two women. Ultimately, Jed was sucked into their circle, and he became the father, while Mrs, Landingham was the grandmother and Nancy the child. Nancy and Liz remained the best friends. After Nancy’s younger sisters graduated from the college their father died and freed her from all obligations. Some time later Jed decided to become a candidate for President, Nancy joined his team and did her best to help out. This team became her family, so long-awaited. She finally found her place in life and felt that she belonged to a family. She never dreamt of something more. The period of loneliness was gone; a new life began in the high school when she bumped into Liz on accident many years ago.
