Social Diseases and Self-preservation in the Eyes of Hitler

Hitler speaking of social diseases and degeneration of individuals develops his thought further to an analogy with nature itself claiming that nature does not focus its efforts on keeping what exists but rather begetting offspring to keep on the species. He directly undertakes an analogous description between that idea and the idea of humans which concerns them less with allaying societal diseases and more to providing healthier channels from the beginning. He furthermore staying within the same idea argues against the wretched need to judge socially evil people because of absence of understanding for the evil by those people making judgment to start with. He says that this uncertainty consists in the fact that people appointed to pass judgment of others in such situations is a direct consequence of having their own meaning of self-guilt. It is obvious that Hitler feels somehow that rather than having to do with diseases of a social nature, it would be much better to know the causes of these diseases and prevent them. While this a high-minded thought, the fact social diseases do indeed exist, it would a failure to face actuality if societies had identical views on philanthropic organizations and their own penal justice system. Of course a society should make itself find the reasons of the origins of their societal diseases but should not at the same time disregard those societal diseases that exist today.

Self –preservation in the opinion of Hitler, especially connected with the self-preservation of a particular race or nation as equated by Hitler’s viewpoint on nationalism was a supreme idea. In actual, he refers to the idea of having mercy on humanity at the cost of self-preservation as being one of foolishness, pusillanimity and know-it-all self-conceit. There is no need to say that Hitler disdains this idea and would not have deal with sparing any part of humanity with the self-preservation of his race being at stake.
