Plan the Ultimate Wedding Venue for Your Hawaiian Wedding

To plan a large wedding can be stressful and you want your guests to have a good time and enjoy participating so be sure to be mindful of your guests so that you can avoid any problems that may blow up to be large than necessary because of the size of your party.

I try to think of myself attending another social event so I can image what it feels like from their perspective. I'm usually running late, and want to park as close to the event as possible since I'm carrying gifts and may have a few children in tow. I usually have a pretty good clue where I'm going but sometimes addresses are a little funny or the directions aren't as clear as they could be so have clear signs along the way is helpful. I'm also very interested in feeling welcomed by a nice large building that says "this is where I'm supposed to be." Nothing is worse than showing up and wondering if you're at the right place.

Then once I arrive, it would be nice to have a gathering area where I can feel welcomed and meet others without crowding into a small area with people I've never met. Call me crazy but showing up to meet 100 or more people I've never met is not my cup of tea. But I warm up quickly if I'm comfortable.

What kind of party are you having? Once you know this you can better choose a building because you'll know if you having a line or not, and whether there will be a huge dance floor or just a place for some live music in the background. These differences will help you decide on the right venue because you'll better understand your needs for the building.

The issue of safety is a concern if you're planning on having many children attend, and what wedding doesn't have children. Okay some don't have children but most do so keep this in mind. When getting in and out of the building as well as during the event you want to be sure it's kid friendly for your guests to feel comfortable as well. No one wants their guests to leave early because they're frustrated by having to chase their children around and watch out for every little thing.

Getting food into the building for your guests can happen by having the facility provide the food or by hiring a caterer to deliver, setup and maybe serve as well. Just be sure that you know what you're getting into with your budget her because food can be expensive and sometimes it's cheaper to use the facility's caterer and other times it's not. It's certainly more convenient because it's one less vendor to keep track of, but it's also a matter of cost and menu.

Dancing is usually a part of the wedding, and if you're going to have a dj or some live music, be sure that you've got plenty of space for them. This makes for a large dance floor and gives you an opportunity to keep your guests interested in staying at your after party. Besides djs and musicians need time to setup and will need to arrive early to do so and you want them to have the room they need to move in and out.

Make sure the venue you choose goes along with the theme of your wedding so you can feel at home here too. It's important to not only find a place that isn't already booked, but find somewhere that provides the ambiance you're trying to create so your pictures will bring back all the memories you've hoped for.
