Hitler’s Disdain to Territorially Small Nations

Reading Hitler’s book Mein Kampf we can feel his disdain for territorially small nations, he refers to them as to people who not only have no ample land resources but also are military defenseless. This military vulnerability in Hitler’s opinion arises from the fact that a quite small target is much easier to seize than a target having vast land and a lot of states, as a consequence the nations with large territories keep the freedom and independence of its own population. We need only to return to the 19th century in the United States of America to see that the statement concerning the territorial land is not meaningless. In our quest to get more land to sow and to extend our boundaries as a nation, the pioneers went west often facing very rough conditions and not very amicable native Indians. Every nation desires to get ample resources for its own people, and extending of its own boundaries would be a logical way out of a difficult situation. When such situations happen to someone with the cast of mind of Hitler and his firm views on nationalism and protecting a particular race, it is consequently not difficult to understand the need for somebody like this to take away by force if there is such a necessity, any and all resources which are need to uphold the surviving of a particular nation or race.

Hitler’s views concerning social problems faced by all civilized nations can mainly be equated with the saying “An ounce of prevention is worth of a pound of cure”. He refers to flim-flam or in his opinion senseless humanitarian attempts of philanthropic organizations as being the false solution to the diseases of every race of people of civilized nation. Rather he argues that such social problems be prevented from appearing originally by addressing the main defects within a society that bring to the degeneration of the individuals.
