Go Spa - Rejuvinate Your Body And Soul

Whether you are a regular at you local spa or not, you will no doubt agree that your body secretly craves the attention of a good massage therapist every now and then. If you've ever been skiing in Whistler, the concept of a deep tissue or relaxing massage is about as familiar and probably almost as frequent as brushing your teeth.

After a great day on the mountain, you may feel mentally and even spiritually invigorated, but even the most experienced skier will attest to the fact that your body could definitely do with a swedish massage, or even a hot rock massage. It's little wonder why Whistler has no shortage of massage and day spas.

On a recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised with the treatments and holistic approach of one spa in particular. Having had a relatively conventional and sometimes almost clinical spa experience in the past, I certainly found the offerings of Thai, Shiatsu and Aromatherapy massage refreshing and alternative.

Apart from the usual gamut of spa treatments, they also offer various alternative and holistic options to the regular vanilla flavored "oil & rub" I was used to getting elsewhere. It doesn't end there either, at Nibbana Healing Spa, items like Reiki, Homeopathy, Craneosacral therapy and a host of other wellness and holistic treatments provide a literal smorgasboard of physical and spiritual restoration to get you ready for another dual with the slopes.
