Blog Information - Now, there’s a blogosphere in your mobile

FROM being a defense sponsored project to today’s indispensable web, internet sure has evolved a long way.
Today, the internet is as much a depository of information that is useful for research or for corporate work as it is a means of broadcasting of one’s views to the world. The phenomenon that started off as separate web pages customised to portray one’s personality to the world have now evolved into blogging. Web pages were too open a forum for the select pioneers who wanted only a select band of invitees to come and see what they had to say or show. Then came blogging, short for web logging. Here the user had the choice to selectively upload content (images, comments, videos or just text) in digital form on the internet and then give restricted or select access to those he desired by inviting them through a web address link. This doesn’t mean that blogs are all restricted access; some like blogspot are high traffic blogs open to all that ‘garner more traffic’ than some big internet sites.
So if you want to talk about your latest trip to the Himalayas or your opinion on the latest judiciary decision, it’s blogging that will come handy.
So how does it all begin? Well all you need is a PC, an internet connection and content that you want to post. Blog sites offer low subscription rates. Once you register, you can upload as frequently as you want and then invite the near and dear ones to take a peek and in some cases if your offer them rights even post comments. Now imagine that you could do this on the move, where ever you are using a mobile multimedia computer with cutting edge technology called M Blog or Mobile Blogging. Once the application is downloaded, one needs to register using one’s cell number and give a unique password. Then the world of blogging is open to you on your phone. No matter where you are you can now upload text and images at your will and invite who you want to view it.
The application is simple to use. All one has to do is select images, upload them into your internet blog which is created once you register. One can then post comments and repeat the procedure till the blog is loaded. All that is then required is to access your address book in your phone which as it is internet enabled can also have their email IDs. Thus, you can invite friends using their mobile numbers or their email IDs. They can then access the blog using the address link that they will get. If they own a GPRS-enabled connection then they can access the blog on the mobile else they can use the PC to do the same.
So what are you waiting for join in the blogosphere and become part of community of millions of bloggers.
