A good entertainment magazine for teens.

It was not long time a go while I was waiting for my daughter at the school lobby. I picked up one of the most favourite entertainment magazine for teens and read through, and that was really amazing to me about what kind of information that our young teens have got these days. I have to admit that as far as not many parents pay just a little attention about what kind of media and information that their child get on day after day and how it affects to children’s behaviour and life style. However, I am one of the parents who are really concern about this, I will try to read all kind of entertainment magazines and other kind of teen magazines as many as I can, in order to know what kind of advice I may give to my child on what good to read and what doesn’t.

Most of stuff in entertainment magazines for young generation not only offer information about movie, stars, celebrities or entertainers, but also include technology, news updates, gadget, sometimes about sex, and so on. So you have to make sure that you spare your time to read some of these magazines so you will have more chance to know about what’s going on in the teen’s society and you can gain knowledge in order to take care and advice them properly.

However, as I am a one of the parents, who have some experience of reading teens stuff, so I take this opportunity to give some advice for you to get to know what kind of entertainment magazines for teens, so you have better idea on knowing what your child are learning.

I have to clarify that entertainment magazine for adult is quite different from entertainment magazine for young generation. Magazine for adults mostly involve with movies and other kind of entertainment that sometimes not suitable for young people, for example, they often offers kind of stars gossip or life style, such as dressing and decorating gadget that teens may try to imitate. Sometimes magazines offers story of celebrities’ sex life, which I think it is very risky and our young generation should have their own strong judgment on what is right and what is wrong. Entertainment magazines for younger generation may have some sort of different aspects, such as offer information of famous teenagers, schooling tips, IT focus or anything that current on topics such as latest computer technology and software.

Therefore, my recommendation here is you probably urge them to read magazines that focus on teenagers as they will gain knowledge and entertainment in the same time, avoid provide them or urge them to read general entertainment magazine for adults, which may have some in appropriate topics.

Some good magazines for teenagers also provide not only entertainment stuff but also any of knowledge and perhaps tutorials off lesson, which may be useful for them, for example, they may have a column specially dedicated for a competition which teens can send their writing works and win the price, so this is a very good example of what you have to look for your children.
