24: More New Cast Members, Including Entourage's Billy Walsh

News about 24's new season told fans about Jack Bauer's journey to Washington, D.C., and the appointing of a new president, thus the casting department braced itself for a busy summer. A busy summer it has truly been, as recently, official news was released about the casting of comic Janeane Garofalo. Garofalo will be playing FBI systems analyst Janis Gold, who was assigned to the team investigating Jack Bauer and the company's crisis. Get ready for more casting news as FOX announced two more new additions, Rhys Coiro and Colm Feore.

Recently appearing on HBO's film Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Colm Feore will be taking on the role of the show's inaugural First Husband. In addition, TV Guide also reports that as a father, Feore's character will strive to handle the presidential children, as we may speculate that they might be kidnapped.

Rhys Coiro, on the other hand, is well-known for his portrayal of eccentric filmmaker Billy Walsh on Entourage, where his character has grown to be an integral part of the show over its last two seasons. An undeniably charismatic man, Coiro plays a man with a bizarre, magnetic energy that makes him a bit of a comical lunatic. On 24, however, Coiro will be playing a character who works with Garofalo's, thus helping out in the investigation of Jack Bauer.

After all these castings, however, a question still remains. Who will be the face of the bad guy this season? If more announcements are made including a recognizable actor, it will be easy to predict who will play the villain. Take for example, James Cromwell. Cast someone like him and viewers will immediately know that he's in for the bad guy role.

Watch out for more casting news in the next few weeks to get a clue as to who will play what in the next season of 24.
